Ramadhan
the kurma are all out and ready. The terawih banners are up. That could only mean one thing. The month of Ramadhan is here… ! Gosh…so fast. Today is 10th Ramadhan “Masa berlalu, tanpa ku menyedari.” Hehe. Im excited for its arrival. That feeling is just creeping up on me. The feeling of….what’s that feeling?? It’s a feeling I cant describe. Especially when you hear the ramadhan prayer thingy, it just brings me comfort and a kind of serene feeling.
Im excited and sad at the same time. Im sad because unlike my other Ramadhan, this year, I wont be able to break fast with my family. All this because of internship, even break fast at “warong” with my friends like I usually do, i still cant do it. Thinking about it makes me feel sad. Gosh. I hope I can pull thru this Ramadhan, to the best of my abilities. InsyaAllah.
With the ‘demons’ chained up and your deeds doubled, im gonna try and make full use of this blessed month. I know I have sinned alot…As much as the grains of sand on the beach. Hopefully this Ramadhan will be a meaningful one.
Seek help and guidance and forgiveness from Him. And insyaAllah, He will show you His blessings. Allah tu maha pengampun dan penyanyang. Hopefully, somewhere along the road, we will see the U-turn sign and make it.
i’m dying of BOREDOM – Part I
The smell of burning ‘hell money’ is creeping through my tightly closed windows. The smell of ‘honoring god’ incense from fellow neighbour swept through the main door. The sound of someone reciting the Quran…its one of the constant reminder of us living in harmony…
“We, the citizens of Malaysia, pledge ourselves as one united people. Regardless of race, language or religion….”
Do we truly understand it, do we truly live by it? Or is it something that we are just obligated to do. Well yes, we are living harmoniously together (which I am thankful for). But on the contrary many of us are still very much oblivious, ignorant and simply clueless of the other race, of the other religion. And racial discrimination is still very much prominent here. It’s amazing how oblivious majority are towards discrimination and tolerance until they taste it themselves. And when the sentence of “That was how I felt like” was thrown back at them, silence was all that’s left.
You just have to open up your eyes and see because matters like these aren’t presented as transparent as plastic as mean people can get. (huh?)

The old stocks of kurma (Dates) are out and the new batches are in. Which means Ramadhan is nearing. Malam Nisfu Syaaban passed already, which is a clear indicator that the blessed month of Ramadhan is around the corner. How time flies…
And for few more hours, I’m sitting here doing nothing……
MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!
heehee
